It seems kind of soon to tell how the surgery went, as far as endo is concerned. I loved his staff. I also liked going to a different town for the proceedure. My boyfriend and I were focused in on me without the regular responsibilities like work and parenting. Bend is a beautiful place and I had a breathtaking view of the mountains from my hosptal bed. BUT If you are considering scheduling surgery at St Charles Hospital with Redwine, or any hospital for that matter, take my advice and find out what the state of operations will be at the hospital during the time of your stay. There was construction going on all day long on every floor, including the surgery area. I mean they were hammering away about ten feet from my bed as I was trying to recuperate from the surgery. They were changing over to a new computer program and the nurses spent most of their time trying to learn how to enter things into it and they had little time for actual care. It's not anyone's fault, and I understand that hospitals need to update, but it was a bad set of circumstances. If I had known I would have waited until the hospital was up and running as usual.
