First time writing to this board...

I have been reading the posts every day and finally am writing with response to a post I saw in the last couple days about trying to conceive and having endo. One question about how do you go through every month when you are trying to conceive and what do you do when you end up being disappointed each month. Well, it definitely is not easy. It has been almost 2 years for me. I was pregnant within 2 months of trying and it resulted in a miscarriage. Since then, I have not been pregnant. The way that I would make it through each month, is that I just keep reminding myself that many women have a hard time conceiving and that there is still hope. I have to say that it is all a process.

I have gone from greiving about not being able to be pregnant, to realizing that what I really want is a family and in order to get a family, I can always adopt. It is a hard place to get to, but I still continue with the hope that I will get pregnant and have a child someday.

My endo story is that I was diagnosed 4.5 years ago with endo and had a laparoscopy. Went on CBC until I decided to try to get pregnant. Prior to my surgery I had quite a bit of pain before my period. I am lucky in that my pain has returned, but at a much lower level than before. I have found acupuncture to help relieve my pain as well as eating a diet without or rarely with dairy, wheat, and citrus. I eat organic foods as much as possible as well. I truly believe this has all helped keep my endometriosis in some lower state than it was before. I do have an endometrioma on my ovary currently, so I know it is still there, but it is much more bearable.

I hope all of you can find some relief from your pain and to those that are trying to conceive, good luck.
