Re: Anyone on continuous BC, and get a bad period every 3 months automatically?

I have been on continuous bcp since the lupron wore off in February. Even on the continuous pills, I still had periods but they were random and I never knew when I would have one. After three different pills, I was put on Camila (which no doctor I have seen since August has ever heard of it, but tells me to continue taking it). On this pill I have had terrible side effects, I may as well not be taking it. Just since Sept. 1 I have had 6, that's right, SIX, periods. Not to mention all the cramping pain, migraines and back pain.

I just had a lap, but have been told to keep taking the pill until I come in for my follow-up on Nov. 29. I don't really know why I keep spending the money on it since it isn't working... Life for me was so much better when I wasn't having a period at all (from the lupron). If I could have it my way, I would eliminate the periods totally, then I wouldn't have any pain!!!

I'll keep you informed as to what the doctor says and what my next "treatment" will be!
