Previous message: Erin: "Re: There, Their, and They're" This morning I went into the attic to replace a window pane that had blown in during a storm. While I was working up there, I felt something in my back snap, and for a short moment, my back felt better. Then the cramps started, not unlike early labor. As if I'm not already stupid enough, I spent the afternoon raking leaves into the street for leaf collection. Now there's real pain, and I'm just not looking forward to tomorrow. I think this is the hardest thing of all: going from being a restless, active person who keeps on top of the chores to hurting too much to move. And it's getting worse so rapidly.
