Re: Nausea with bowel endo - having bad day

I have bowel endo --though I don't know how extensive-- and I feel
nauseated a lot. My GYN told me that the nausea probably isn't from
endo unless I am feeling it during my period or during ovulation. I
doubt that is true. I am sure the endo could cause nausea at any point
in the cycle -- what do you all think?
Janelle, regarding your original post, I have had vomiting with my endo
and also tonnes of (painful) gas. It's so helpful to know others are
going through the same thing.
I went to my gastroenterologist and told him that when I was pregnant
all my "IBS" symptoms went away. I asked him, do you think this
indicates they were caused by endo? He said, "Well, you were probably
just so happy about being pregnant that it caused you to feel better and
after the miscarriage you have been down. Stress can cause a lot of
problems." This only solidified my husband's maddening perspective that
what I really need to do it tap into the power of the mind. No, what I
really need more than anything right now is a good set of doctors that
won't say things like "Some women just have pain" (quoting my old GYN).
I'm sorry you are having so much nausea with the bowel endo and thank
you for sharing your experiences -- it helps me feel less crazy.
