Some of us are suffering from both, and I was protecting myself from the herpes, but ended up with it because the man I loved was not faithful. so despite my best efforts I suffer anyway. I accepted him after I found out he gave it to me, even forgave him, but he left when my Endo got to be too much. I was in too much pain to have sex and too tired to do a lot, and affects of the Lupron in some ways I don't blame him for leaving. If I could go and leave Endo behind I would. From someone who has both, if I could choose. I would choose the Herpes. It's a minor inconvience compaired to the Endo which controls my life.

I have decided that I won't let this run my life, so I try to stay strong and not let anyone know, but for the most part I feel alone. There are a lot more people who suffer from Herpes and there are a lot more support groups for both men and woman for Herpes. Try to explain Endo to a man. Once they hear that Sex is painful they run, thinking you won't like sex. With someone empathetic to my condition it would be fine, but I have yet to meet him.

I challenge you to Educate yourself about this condition, and do not judge, as you have not walked in my shoes. Life is no picnic for any of us, but it is what you make it. I prefer to be a survivor of both Herpes and Endo.
