Re: Fist sized clots normal for endo?

Nikki, I also have pain in my lower back. It feels so good when my husband puts his palm there and pushes hard. It is similar to the back labor I had when I was giving birth. I think a lap is a good idea. I had one Oct 1st. It's not that bad. I had it on Friday and was going about my usual routine by Monday. I was still a little sore then but just when I moved certain ways or when I tried to wear blue jeans. One thing I want to tell you is that right after my lap I felt great. I got my period one week after surgery and I've had pains ever since. The doc said that the endo is already growing back. He wanted to put me on lupron and I'm going to refuse it. I'm going to look into getting a hysterectomy. I don't want anymore children. I just have to find out where my endo was located and if a hyst is the right choice for me. I think a lap is a good place for you to start. One good thing is that my period wasn't near as bad as it was before. Keep in mind that I've only had one since surgery. It will be comming next week and I'm already in pain. I have some pain killers that were prescribed after my surgery but I don't want to take them unless I have too. I'm afraid of getting hooked on them. Some questions you might want to ask after your lap are....What stage of endo is it?....Where all was it located?....Were you able to get it all? These are questions I wish I would of asked. Now I have to go back to the gyno so I can ask them and also to inform him that I will not be taking the lupron. You might be able to get some relief from your back pain by lying on your back with a tennis ball under you. I do that when it's really bad. Good luck with whatever you decide to do and remember sometimes you need to make the doc listen! Tracy
