i've had both procedures done. when it was just lasered (cauterized), the pain never went away really. it actually got worse. 7 months later (after lupron even), i had the stuff cut out or excised. there were a couple spots there. once they were cut out, i felt great. the relief lasted longer than a year. still feeling good, but cramps are happening again. but they aren't bad.
