As an LVN w\ endo I choose not to take Ibuprofen during my period because it can act as a blood thinner. If your bleeding doesn't let up soon I would absoultely go to the ER. The heating pad is a good idea and so is just getting as much rest as possible. The pain being so bad isn't abnormal for having endo, that's just kinda a part of it and many people deal in many ways...through exercise,meditation,medications,prayer,etc... But I would not wait to see about the excessive bleeding.
