Need some help... I don't know what to do :( HELP!

Hi... I started my period yesterday.. Me and my boyfriend were trying to get pregnant before I got sick and we stopped trying.. I was in a lot of pain yesterday, and I went through one tampon in 15 min. After the tampon, I used a pad because the pain was really bad. I bled through that in 30 min. I put another pad in and I didn't bleed nearly as much. Today when I woke up I had filled an entire pad and I decided I would use a tampon because I had ran out of the pads. I bled through another tampon in 20 min. I went and got some more pads and I haven't bled through that one. I've never experienced anything like this before. I mean I've bled heavily before, but it's never gone from extremely heavy to extremely light. The pain is also in my back and in my lower left quadrent.. I called my doctor because I took 800 milligrams of Ibuprofen and it didn't help. I've been using the heating pad and when I'm on the go I use the little Therma Pad things.. I've tried warm baths as well. I've been doing 600 mg. of Ibuprofen and 1,000 milligrams of Tylenol. I alternate them. It's not helping at all. The doctor said this would help, but it isn't. I don't have any other meds and I have been off of them for almost 3 weeks now.

Please someone help I have no clue what to do. :( Should I go to the ER? Should I just wait it out or what?
