I have been reading this thread and it sounds like Mandy, you really
need to have the Lap done to really find out what is going on. To tell
you a little about my story, I had my first lap over 6 years ago, they
did try the pills first but they did not help me any. I then had my
first lap and was put on Lupron immedialty following (this is the only
thing I am unsure of) I was still have problems so a couple of months
later they did my second surgery. I felt so much better after they
cleared it all up. Well for the past 2 years I have been having
problems again and this past month was really bad. I am having my 3rd
lap done the week of Thanksgiving (what a bad week to do it, I just hope
it helps.
After all of that, I know that you do not want to have the lap, but
think of it like this, if you keep putting it off, you may end up a lot
worse than things are now and if you do want kids one day then you need
to get in there and see what is going on. I have also been on Ovcon and
it worked better but the truth of the matter is, if you have Endo, then
the pills are not going to help at all and it is better to find out and
do something about it then to live with the pain.
I know this is a really hard subject and talking to you about it helps
me believe it or not, I am really emotional about having this next
surgery, but I know that it is the only way that the pain will go away.
I will keep you in my prayers and please let me know if you need
anything. I know you feel as though you are never going to get better,
but the surgery does help!
