Re: anyone here get pregnant even w/ endoFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon Oct 18 19:57:48 2004
I have been going around and around with the OB/GYN since I was 16 and now I am 24. I have always had terrible pelvic pain, but every time he did a laparascope he would remove just a little bit of tissue, cut some nerves then put me back on BC taking them back to back to avoid having a period. Avoiding the periods would help a little bit, but I would still have pain. Now at 24 I went in to have a huge lump on the outside of the abdominal muscles removed (they thought it was a hernia), what a surprise to the surgeon it was a mass of endometrial tissue the size of a baseball. Point of it all, throughout this time, the doctor always gave me the lecture how low the chances were to get pregnant. And after 3 LONG years of trying and praying with my husband we decided to adopt a little boy. He came to us in July of 2002 (at 13 months old. In August of 2002, I started getting morning sickness. With my periods being so irregular, we didn't figure it out until I was almost 12 weeks along. Our little girl was born March 16, 2003. I carried her full term, and she is beutiful. Good luck, say your prayers.....but remember if it doesn't pan out, there are a lot of beutiful babies out there that need homes. I love both of them the same. -Anna
