21 with Endo & PCOS... my appointment was TODAY!From: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Oct 6 02:59:16 2004
Well everyone... this is Angie... i wrote not to long ago about having Endo and PCOS and that i needed some info. to take with me to my appointment. Well i went and pretty much nothing but bad news. My endo has spread to my ovaries and my tubes which means surgery(sp?)!!! The DR said that i might be able to have kids but only if my tubes aren't completely blocked! i can't believe this is happening to me!! all i've ever dreamed about is having kids. She said that i might have a better chance at getting preganet after the surgery but that only time will tell! and as if that wasn't bad enough my dr told me that if i wanted kids to start trying that the sooner the better but just my luck my fiance doesn't want kids right now even though hes 30 y/o and i already told him that if anything were to happen between us that i would take care of the kid and he wouldn't have anything to do!! shoot i went as far as telling him that if he didn't want to that he didn't have to have anything to do with the kid now!!! but he still refuses!! but anyway... wish me luck and please keep me in all your prayers!!! god knows i need it!! -- I have both and i'm only 21. Drs have been telling me for the past 3 years that i'm heading right for a hystorectomy.. (sorry i know thats spelt wrong) I'm scared and don't know what to think or feel anymore.. anyone feel the same?
