About the ribbon discussionFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Oct 4 12:24:58 2004
I found the following list, there are probably more but this is what I found: Pink = breast cancer white with blue stripe = teen cancer awareness purple = lupus and fibromyalgia peach = uterine cancer dark blue = colon cancer lavendar = general cancer awareness yellow = childhood cancer awareness yellow BOW ribbon = war ribbon black = 9/11 awareness dark gray with red center = diabetes yellow with red stripe = hepatitis C light blue = prostrate cancer red, white & blue = patriotic ribbon multicolored = autism red = aids/hiv turquoise = ovarian cancer light gray = brain cancer so.... as you can see peach is indeed already claimed for something really deadly. I think perhaps to find something to be uniquely representative of endo awareness you need to be a bit more creative and either combine colors or get a pattern. You know, you could perhaps use the endo quilt as a guide, just a thought. http://www.endometriosiszone.org/quilt/endo.cfm
