Christina,

It can most definitely come back that quick, even on birth control. Birth control is still providing estrogen to your body, which is the fuel for endo. Birth control just gives you estrogen in a controlled dosage, and is lower than what your body produces naturally. And even though your Doctor removed it, it is possible that there was adhesions he could not see and those are now acting up. Unfortunately, I have found that endo has a mind of it's own and can come back at any time! Everything I have tried (laps, continuous birth control, Lupron) only gives me relief for awhile and then BAM! Endo comes back. Sorry to hear you are hurting so soon after surgery. Hang in there! We all can relate on the forum and are here for you!

Hugs! Amy Meyer
