I think it tends to run around $500 or so a month, depending on where you get it. Will the insurance make an exception and approve the entire cost? I have Humana and that is what they do. It is not a drug "covered" in my health plan, but they do allow for exceptions with Lupron and so it costs me nothing, not even a co-pay. I take it 3 months at a time, which is about $1700 and didn't pay a cent. All I pay now is the $20 office co-pay for getting the injection. Just a thought. Maybe you can call them and ask? I thought initially that Humana would only cover about %70 (which our plan does if it is not on their "approved" drug list) but then found out that they consider Lupron an exception. Very pleasant surprise for me. Certainly worth asking about. Also make sure they know you are taking it for endo and not fertility. That could make a difference, as many companies don't cover fertility treatments. Good luck in whatever you do and I hope you get some relief from the Lap.

Hugs! Amy
