heather i know it is scary. i have had four. it will be okay. ask the doctor for a sedative when they are preping you to keep you calm.you will be soar after surgery. it depends on what they do to you to see how bad and how long. he will prescribe you something for pain. if you have endo the lap is not a cure but it will releave pain for awhile.just take it easy after surgery. i usually take the day of the surgery and the next day off rom work at just rest. hope you start to feel better if you have a ny questions on anything please emsil me nclark@brunoehlers.com nikkie
