Re: Anyone with PCOS too?

Hi Christy,

I don't have PCOS so I can't speak from experience, but I understand that it can be well managed with diet and medication in most cases. My flatmate's doctor thought she had it a few months ago and immediately put her on a low carb diet as well as on the BCP to control her hormones a little better. It turned out that she didn't have it after all, and so the diet didn't help her any, but she did a heap of research about it and found that there is a lot of info out there. Keep looking, and don't give up! A hysterectomy is a very serious step to take, so look at ALL your options before you do something so irreversible.

Godbless, Georgie
