Thank you so much for your advice. I have been on the internet for the past two weeks researching info about endo and laps. Sometimes I wish I didn't start because it makes me even more scared but I like to know what it going to happen. I went for my preop evaluation yesterday and the nurses explained a lot. I have had this pain for probably 2-3 years but it has just gotten worse and worse each month. I am 33 and would like to have a child in the near future. I hope they can find some answers. BTW, do you have any of these same symptoms .... bloating from ovulation on, back pain, pelvic pain? Sometimes I think it may be GI in origin but it just seems to correlate with my menstrual cycle too often. I also have three cousins with endo. I am an only child so I don't have any sisters to relate to. My mom went through menopause in her late-30s and she doesn't remember having any of these symptoms. I have read where it can run in families. Thanks again for your help!! It makes me feel so much better knowing I have support from other women.
