Re: Confused - If Lupron Is Not a Solution - Why Does Anyone Take It?

I just started the depo lupron... and while yes, it is temporary (about 5 years on average) so is having a laproscopy. I had a lap when I was only 19 (I'm now 29) and about 3 years ago I started having bad pain again. They had me on several different birth controls and finally decided to do 6 months of lupron. The lap only gets what the doctor can see during surgery- but there are alls sorts of hidden places for endo to hide - and Lupron will take care of this. However; I'm not sure why anyone would go through this and then have a hysterectomy.
