Bleeding inbetween periods

I have had endo for about 10years, but luckily not as badly as a lot of people on here seem to have it. I have it in the bowel so I have rectal bleeding and a lot of pain, cramps, bloating and spasms but really just for aobut 10 days around my period. For the rest of the time I dont know I have a problem, if i stick to a sensible diet and dont wear too tight clothes. I am a bit shocked this month as about half way between periods i started to bleed and have not stopped 8 days later. It is not heavy but it is persistant.

Has anyone else had this? Could it be the endo or should I get straight to my Dr to see if it is something else.
