Endo/ovarian pain?From: Nik (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Sep 13 21:13:02 2004
Hi...I have a few quick questions which may seem odd since I was diagnosed with endometriosis approximately 10 years ago and should know what endo pain feels like. However, the only reason I found out I had it in the first place was because I was trying to get pregnant, could not, etc. etc. etc. I was diagnosed with severe (Stage V) endo, but I guess I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have pain. My doc was quite surprised. Anyway...my question is this...where exactly do you feel ovarian pain? The majority of my pain is just on the inside of my hip bone at about the level of the top of my belly button. This pain radiates down into my groin area and sometimes to my outer hip. I also have back pain...just below rib cage. Pain is not continuous, but I do have it on a daily basis...some days worse than others. When it first started, I was sure I had a urinary tract infection, but was checked for that...negative. Does this sound like it could be endo/ovarian pain. I have had ovarian cysts (painless) in the past. I would be so appreciative of any advice you could give. I've read a lot of posts and it really seems like there are a lot of supportive people out there! Thanks!!
