Mary, First of all, know that you are not alone. I've found that the best way for me to channel my fears and frustration, is to jump in and try to learn as much as I could. Take one step at a time. I would begin by going to http://www.endometriosisassn.org. They will send you an info pkg for free. Start there.

The only other thing I would suggest is to jump to a specialist. I'm saying this because I am 37 years old and looking back, this is what I would do if I could be 17 again and know what I know now.(I'm starting to sound like my mother !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)This is what I am doing now.

The 2 I am consulting with are Dr. andrew Cook in California and Dr. Albee of the Center for Endometriosis Care in Atlanta. Both Doctors will evaluate your case at no charge and if you contact each, they will send you info pkgs.

I don't want to know how many hours I've wasted on Dr. apts and tests......This is what I would do if I were you.

Hope this helps. HOW DO YOU EAT AN ELEPHANT? ONE BITE AT A TIME.
