Hi, Pam. I can remember the days when I started my period and all the problems that seemed to come with. At the time I just felt they were related to my period somehow normal. How comforting it would have been to know what was going on inside my body. Instead I just grew to hate this time in my life. My period was a dreeded part of my life, which made me feel like a freak. All my mom's gyn did was put me on the pill and most of the time ignore my symptoms. My mom had no idea what was going on. You do have some heads up and if your daughter does start showing symptoms, she has someone very important on her side with a lot of knowledge.
