Just wanted to say hang in there! Sorry that you have had such problems
and on top of it, have to deal with a Doc who thinks you are a junkie.
Just once I wish a male Doc could experience the severe pain of endo.
Bet they wouldn't think we are junkies then!
Hope the Lupron helps. I am on it now for a second time and am doing
well. I am one of those who handle it very well and experience few side
effects. I do have those crying jags too, but thankfully, not very
often. I try to just talk myself down when it happens because I know it
is the shots and the hormones causing it. When they do happen, I try to
just pamper myself a little to feel better. Hot, relaxing baths can do
wonders for both the mental state and any physical pain. You might talk
to your Doctor about it too. He can probably prescribe an anti-anxiety
or anti-depressant to help while you are on the shots. A lady I work
with took Zoloft while on Lupron and said it did wonders for her mental
state. For me, the jags don't last long and aren't constant, so I have
managed to muddle through.
Hang in there! You are not alone and all of us can relate to what you
are saying. Just know you have lots of friends on the forum who are
always willing to listen! Feel free to email me direct too, if you want
to vent. Email me at work: ameyer@dbllaw.com
Hugs and pain free days!
Amy
