Re: Bloated as if my stomach is gonna explode?

I have had three laps now and find I stayed pretty bloated for at least the first week. Some of it is from the gas, and some I think from the surgery itself. I'm sure that the excision or burning off of the endo causes your insides to be inflammed too. For me, it seems like the gas moves out in a few days because that is how long the shoulder and chest pain lasts, but the bloating continues for several days after. If it doesn't get better soon, I would just call my Doc and ask about it, but it may just be due to the irritation from surgery and the healing process.

Hang in there! It does get better! Hugs!! Amy Meyer
