Jude,

While I am not in the best emotional state myself to give someone advise on how to cope with all of this, what I can do is tell you that you are not the only person in the world going through this. As of last week, I as told the exact same thing from my doctor.

I know that neither the GnRH or the hysterectomy will provide an end to this. I have read and talked to a friend about what Lupron, the GnRH my doctor wants to use and about women that have had hysterectomies but still experience pain. What kind of solution does either one of those sound like!!!?

I was diagnosed in 1992 and am so sick and tired of all of this. And, as of wednesday, my husband has filed for divorce. Can things get any worse? I knew that he was frustrated with the pain and doctors and neverending treatment and pills but I had no idea that he honestly was such a misunderstanding and selfish person. I am beginning to vent.

I am 30 and have decided that I will probably try the Lupron for a temporary fix, which usually my laps are used for that. Like you, I have just recently had a lap along with removal of a fallopian tube - june 2004. Since the surgery, I am in more pain than I ever remember being in with this.

I hope that you receive some help soon and let me know if you need to talk. ( amcallister03@hotmail.com ) Keep remembering that you're not alone although I know that is hard to do. Best of luck.
