a depot depression? does that existFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Aug 19 21:10:07 2004
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have been taking depot provera over a year now, and start to notice -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- changes in my mood. i cry a lot, get upset easy, don`t have the energy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to do my work, and have attacks of nervousness and paranoia. i didn`t think about the shot having anything to do with that until i realized the changes came at the same time as the medication. i don`t take any other medication, or ever did. can anybody tell me if i am trying to find a cheap excuse for my state of mind, or that i should find another birth control method? i do love the convenience of being on depot provera, and cannot take estrogen. but i need to change something quickly if i don`t want to loose my husband, upset more of my friends, and most of all, get so fed up with being me...
