Ladies,

I just want you to know that everyone is different and you SHOULD NOT ADVISE SOMEONE TO NOT TAKE A DRUG based on your experience with the drug as far as Depo Provera becasue everyone is different that should be the patients decision. This forum is to hear other peoples experiences not to tell someone or preach to someone what to do and what not to do. The reason I am saying this is because when I first started reading postings from this forum it scared me and I based my decisions on what I did on what others were saying and some people are easily convinced on doing or not doing something. So on the other hand I HAVE BEEN ON DEPO PROVERA FOR 5 1/2 YEARS AND EVERYTHING IS GOING PRETTY GOOD. I have no period or at least a light very light period every other month or so and the only bad side effect I have had is my fault. My doctor advised me to take 1200 mg of Calcuim and 800 mg of Vitamin D well I decided that I did not want to be bothered by taking more medication so I did not do it (I should have because it is over the counter stuff anyways). Well just a couple of months ago I was diagnosed with Osteopenia which is a mild case of Osteoperosis it is totally reversable and all I am doing is a little exercise and taking medication now 1200 mg of Calcuim and 800 mg of Vitamin D and Actonel which is helping me with building my bones back to normal. So I feel that Depo Provera has worked wonders for me I have NO ENDO PAIN for the most part and I feel great. I just don't want you ladies to be scared of taking Depo Provera because you hear alot of bad things about it I wanted to make a post because there is a good side also. IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER LADIES THAT COULD GIVE THEIR STORY ABOUT DEPO PROVERA I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR IT. Also if anyone has any other questions feel free to e-mail me private at kimcrde2@yahoo.com
