-- I was diagnosed with Endo as well and was told that I had 4 choices, #1 get pregnant again #2 Have a hystorectomy #3 Go on the Depo Lupron shot for 6 months #4 Live with the pain. I had 2 cysts removed (one on each ovary)using Laparoscopy; however, the pain came back. I chose the shot. I took it for 2 months and decided to stop because I wasn't sleeping, I had hot flashes 4 to 5 times a day that would last only 5 minutes or so but they were intense. I also gained weight, but I didn't have anymore pain or a period. I have now been off of the shot for 3 months and still have not gotten my period back. I am wondering how long until your period comes back? Anyone know?
