Lupron & TAP Pharmaceuticals seem pretty shade to meFrom: Chris (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Aug 17 02:09:43 2004
I have just finished reading a number of articles about all the negative - and in some cases long-lasting - side effects of this drug, as well as the growing body of data strongly suggesting that Lupron worsens endometriosis sufferers' lives as much or more often than it helps them. What's equally worrying to me is how aggressive TAP's patient/doctor marketing machine is. I'm sure many of you use search engines to research endometriosis, and guess who's always buying their way to the top of the sponsored results? TAP PHARMACEUTICALS = http://www.EndoKnow.com I've already read about the numerous times TAP has been punished by the FDA for its aggressive claims and marketing methods. So I have one thing to say, and that is - AVOID LUPRON, IT DOES MORE HARM THAN GOOD! My wife has endo and we are several months into homeopathic treatment coupled with more fish, no caffeine/chocolate and less stressful living. I highly recommend lap for positive diagnosis/treament and whole body/mind well-being for positive relief of symptoms. -Chris
