I just don't get it? oh my god my doctor is a real jerk about giving me vicodin. I have a constant pain, which feels like stabbing knives, and it leaves me crippled for sometimes all day, or a few days. he started out only giving me ibuprofen 800 mg, and naproxen. and i tried it for about a month, none of it really works. when I asked him for something stronger, he was very reluctant to give me anything. he finally gave me 10 vicodins, (not really enough to last me) and when I called him for a refill 3 weeks later, he told me he thought maybe I was abusing them. I mean what is his problem!!! I need pain relief, and he treats me like some sort of criminal or addict. I don't have a problem with addictions, or drug abuse, not at any time in my life, and not now. but he acts like just because someone else got addicted or something, that I can't have any vicodin either, because I will go and do the same thing. get a new doctor, find a pain specialist, or something. I am trying to find a doctor who is sympathetic. my doctor i have now acts like I am just whining about nothing, and this is REAL. don't let a doctor treat you like an addict. you are his PATIENT, not some junkie. Luv and good luck! -Jaci
