Re: Advice on progesterone creme

It is true...do not be surprised if your doctor tells you it will not work for you, or something else to scare you or discourage you. My gyn. is wonderful and caring yet he told me that I didn't know how much I was getting, and that they use progesterone to treat depression...etc.... Well, as much as I like him, my cream works wonders that he could never do. The bottom line is, it worked for me. It helped me. With absolutely no side effects. I am very thankful for it.

Another thing to consider is this: The book 'What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause' is written by a doctor, not a layman. He did many studies on his own with hundreds of different women.

Doctors are not perfect. We can't blindly believe our doctor and yet cast away another. An informed decision is best. I looked at the women who found good results with no backlash.

I hope this helps :)
