Re: Adjusting to Lupron

Hi everyone, I'm on my first round of Lupron.I had my first shot(one-month)2 weeks ago yesterday and have been feeling terrible. The pain has gotten much worse, not only in my lower abdomen and side but also into my upper thighs, especially the left one.I started limping a few days ago,but it seems to be getting better.I also started my period last Sunday and it hasn't let up,so,that's probably why the pain increased. My last one was 2 months ago on 6/11/04,so,the timing is right.I've also been getting some headaches, but not migraines like before, they just feel like tension headaches.I've been having to take a pain pill first thing in the morning so that I can get ready and go to work!I don't like the idea but nothing else works!Since I'm starting my 2nd two weeks on the Lupron today,I'm hoping that relief is in sight, once the hormones even out.I've also been taking add-back therapy(Aygestin)and the hotflashes have really gotten much better!!I'll let you know how my progress goes.I think we all have to hang in there and trust in our doctors.Good luck !
