Re: Gastro Problems and Endo

I experience similar things because I have some endo on my bowels. Have they ever told you that during your laps? I even had a colonoscopy to be sure nothing else was wrong, and it wasn't. Is the pain and gas constant? Mine is worse while on my period and many times if I have to "bear down" to have a bowel movement, the pain is intense and causes me to bleed from my vagina. I just had a third lap in June and so far, the bowel pain is much better. He freed up my bowel and uterus, which were stuck together. Sounds like it could be from endo, but to play it safe, why don't you make a Doc appointment? My gyno was able to refer me to a gastric specialist, which allowed it to be covered by insurance. If you have a good relationship with your gyno, I would start there first. Feel free to email me at work at ameyer@dbllaw.com if you want to talk further.

Hugs! Amy
