I have never been so upset in my life! I'm nearly 40 have been to the same Gynecologist most of my adult life. I have stage III Endometriosis and am called behind my back, of course, 'Sterile Carole'. To add insult to injury they wanted to perform a pregnancy test on me. What a waste of their time and my money! I couldn't believe after all these years and heartbreak of being barren they would EVEN suggest such a thing. I refuse to pee in a cup and after going back and forth with the nurse about it she managed to get another doctor to sign off on it and wave the pregnancy test as my own doctor wasn't there. Who in God's name makes these rules. This was degrading, insulting, and emotionally far more painful than just a prick by a needle and the burning feeling of the drug being pushed into my body. I just had to vent. I'm still, upset and hurt by this but who really cares?
