Re: Anyone in Portland, OR???From: Angie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Aug 6 20:52:12 2004
That's great! She offered to have him call me also but I opted for an appointment. I'm guessing I will be able to schedule a 2nd lap at that time. Because of work issues, I'll have to wait until late September or October to have it done. That's not too bad, and I am going to a pain mgmt clinic so my pain is under control. I forgot to ask if they make you pay up front. I don't think they do.. she said that since I have met my insurance's out of pocket maximum for this year, I would only end up paying about $200 since he charges a bit more than what my insurance company allows for the procedure. He does the surgeries at Emmanuel which is great because I'm only allowed to go to Legacy hospitals. I'm hoping he will be able to do some kind of biopsy to see if I might have adeno. If he doesn't see any endo or evidence of adeno, I will be really depressed! There just HAS to be some reason for all of this awful pain! Let me know how your conversation goes with him. Hey, maybe we could get a "2 for 1" deal on the laps! :o)
