Re: ; Stage 4From: Heather (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Aug 5 22:26:07 2004
I am sorry that I can not offer much advice because I am just recovering from surgery for stage 4 endo myself, I'm at 10 months post-op and 4 months post-Lupron. I agree that both are horrible (and I'm extra sorry to hear you had to lose an ovary). However, a lady at my work told me that she had one of her ovaries removed and still managed to have two children "au natural." I am 26 and my husband and I are also trying to conceive with no luck so far. All I can say is I relate to your worries... my doctor is pressuring us because he is sure my endo will return quickly. BUT... I think you and I should maybe listen to a few of these ladies who tried the natural approach by adjusting what they eat (no Wheat, no caffeine, no dairy...etc.) I tested the no Wheat thing but I was on Lupron at the time so all I experienced was menopausal symptoms (Yea! that was so fun). I think I need to give it another go! I hope I planted at least an idea of a direction you could take. Now I need to follow my own advice! Best Wishes!
