Re: Continuous Birth Control

I would ask your Doctor about this. I have been doing the pill continuously for about 2 1/2 years. I started it with one Doc and am now seeing another. Both of them told me I should "force" a period every 3-4 months. When I asked why, both said it is just a good idea and better for your body. I can usually tell when it is time too. Seems like I start feeling worse than usual, but after forcing a period, I feel really great for a couple months. I will warn you though-my periods are worse now that I don't have them every month. I don't bleed too bad, but the cramps, headache, backache, etc. are much worse. But I will take that trade off over having one every month!

Hugs! Amy Meyer
