Re: Has anyone else been told to do this? From: Tia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri Jul 30 11:01:30 2004
Hi Brittany, Ya that sounds like the story of my life. I hate the pills. The pills were horribe for me. My doctor started me on the pills consecutively as well. I was having horrible pains like I was getting my period, my back was horrible sore, my breasts hurt and I was having bleeding. Then I went off it and I had a lot of pain as well. I switched to the patch and I bled for a month straight. Honestly what your doctor said is true. It is your body's normal reaction to having your hormonal balance played with. Since you were technically not getting a regular period, it makes up for lost time. It really sucks and is extremely painful; but you are not crazy. The same thing basically happened to me. Do you have anything for the pain? If not, I suggest you get something. I hope I helped a bit. Tia
