Hi Brittany :)

I, too, have been on bcp continuously for about two full years now. When I first started I went for about 7-8 months or so w/ out a period. I was ok, but then I just started spotting and couldn't stop for a couple months. With the spotting came more pain. The specialist I had gone to for a second opinion said that my body just needed to bleed sometimes. She suggested that when I started spotting, to finish the pack out and then get my period. I've been handling it that way for a little over a year now and oddly enough my body likes to bleed every three months. It's weird, but once that third month rolls around I start to spot and then I know it's "time". Perhaps you should try a method such as this? Maybe your body just needed to release a little more often? I don't know, I'm not a doc. But maybe it was just the bcp you were on as well?

Don't know if that helped at all, but I do hope you can find some relief from that!
