Hi Brittany, I have been put on birth control pills for about 3 or 4 months without stopping which i think is okay for your body even though it is quite abnormal but 7 or 8 months isnt very good for you according to my gynacologist. It just isnt something your body is going to be used to. I think thats probably why your periods are so heavy and more painful than they ever were since you went so long without them. I know that once i went three or four months without a period the first or second one is always the worste after you get off of them. Maybe just wait awhile and see if your next one is any better. If not you should call your doctor to see if its normal for this type of thing. Also if the heavy bleeding continues i recommend going in right away because you could be hemoraging and that could potentially be pretty dangerous. well i hope i helped and good luck with everything. im always here for ya!
