My mother is a wonderful cook who always watched what my father and I ate.....mostly she did this because of their family medical history (I am adopted). After stating that last thing, I must say that my mother was 20 years old when she had me and had no complications...I was an "accident". So, where I get it from is anyone's guess, but if you read my story....you will see how badly I have it. The OBGYN that I had when I was younger was a longtime family friend and physician. He seemed to think it was from sexual abuse that I had experienced when I was younger and/or a possible infection that was not caught. But there again, no certainties.
