I had wicked gas pains for the 4 days following my laparascopy (which was just last Thursday) but after that the gas went away. However, I have not been able to have a bowel movement since the surgery either. My muscles down there are still very tender, so no pushing can really happen (not to be gross). So, no, you're not alone. Anyone know why this happens or when it subsides? I hope you feel better...let me know what you find out.
