Yes, I did this time. I had 2 cysts removed and Endo behind the bowel, but not on it, but that was enough to cause problems. The gas is unfortunately, very normal.They pump you full of it during the surgery and it hurts about as bad as the incisions sometimes.. Try Phazyme or Tums. It helped me.

I also had bowel problems. I use liquid minerals which are made from sea waters or Slippery Elm. You can get both a health food stores. Both have a laxative effect but are more soothing and not as harsh as OTC stuff. Most of the OTC stuff is too strong for me so I end up with the opposite problem, which is not fun either, especially after surgery.
