Geeze Anna, I'm so very sorry about that. I was always told how early I had been diagnosed at 20, but 13 is just unimaginable. I can sympathize very much with you. Unfortunately it does affect your relationships in so many ways. Your friends don't, and can't, understand entirely what is going on with you. Please do not feel like a complainer or hypochondriac. You are not. What you are going through is very real. You know your body better than anyone else in the world and if something is wrong, go for a second opinion.

I would also suggest talking to your doc about going to see a massage therapist. Ask around and see if you can find one that is very knowledgable about abdominal work. That can help a lot, but I would just make sure with your doc or a second opinion doc first to make sure your ovary is not twisted for sure again. I dont' know, but maybe the masso therapist can help with that too. But do not go to a spa for one. What city do you live in? I know a great one in the Cleveland area, and maybe someone on the forum would know of a good one in your area.

Also, I myself gave in and finally started seeing a counselor only a couple weeks ago. I was wearing down mentally. I've been fighting this for 5 years. I should have gone earlier, b/c it turns out the hormones have been affecting my moods so much that I needed to go on anti depressants a while ago. I just kept trying to "suck it up" and deal with it. I didn't want that stigma attached to me. My gyno, a specialist, and a second opinion all agreed with the counselor, however, lol. At 16, I can't even imagine how much you are going through. So if you are seeing one, awesome, and if you are not, maybe you should. It definitely can't hurt, you know?

Well, I hope I helped a little at least. Take care!! Michelle
