Also make sure you take 1,000-1,500 mg of calcium daily, there will be minimal bone loss but my dr told me I'm young and relatively healthy so it should almost completly restore itself. I am using protection since I have a blood clotting disorder and should I get pregnant it has to be treated right away or I will miscarry and since you don't have a period I would never know. My dr. said there are no known side effects from getting pregnant on lupron but my theory is why risk it. Hope this helps and I hope again that it works for you like it has for me!!
