Re: teeth and lupron

I have heard this and swear my own teeth are also more sensitive after Lupron. I thought it was my imagination until I started hearing more women complain of the same thing. Must be associated with the bone loss that Lupron causes. I am getting ready to do Lupron again in a couple weeks, so I will try to keep track and see if my teeth get worse while on it. I'll keep the forum posted.

Does anyone else seem to have long-term joint issues from Lupron? My bones and joints just don't seem to be the same (lots of popping, cracking, and aching). Just wondering if it is an age thing (I am 33 now) or somehow related to the Lupron shots? I did 9 months of it the first time, the last three with add-back to counter the bone loss. Have never had a bone density test but may ask for one.

Hugs! Amy Meyer
