Re: Link between synthroid and worsening symptoms

Hi, thanks for your reply. I do have Hashimoto's w/ hypothyroidism,
which has been successfully treated. In fact, just back from
endocrinologist visit and all is well and I don't have to go back for 6
months. One interesting thing that I read about endo years ago is that
someone had done a study and found that women w/ red or auburn hair had
a slightly higher incidence of endo compared w/ women with other hair
colors. Sounds silly but I do have reddish hair. The theory was that
there would be some type of gene that might predispose someone to a
certain hair color as well as endometriosis. Of course not all endo
sufferers have red hair. Anyway, it's interesting. My cholesterol has
been ok but I actually have not had it tested recently. I'm a
vegetarian and never had trouble w/ it but probably should get it
measured.
Nice chatting w/ you too. Take care.
