Re: Anyone have tips for dealing with fatigue? From: Jill (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun Jul 11 10:29:43 2004
Hello there, The hard part is...fatigue is one of the first symptoms/results of almost anything that goes wrong with our body. My sister has been on a synthetic progesterone shot for years and is fatigued alot. She said it feels like when she was pregnant. I know for myself fatigue came because of my adrenals going off all the time; a family disposition. Emotional stress, physical stress, or stress from not getting proper nutrition and exercise can all cause adrenal fatigue. If you can, I would recommend going to an endocrinologist and asking for a blood profile - including one for the adrenal system. At least this can be ruled out. Hypothyroid also can cause this, or the meds you are on. (I know, I am not helping much eh?). At any rate, it's a start. I personally began to eat more homecooked meals, raw organic fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy and take a brisk 30 min. walk each night after kids are in bed. I am also a distributor for an awesome vitamin and supplement company, but unfortunately cannot tell you who because we are not allowed to here. Garlic is one of the most amazing things on the planet for all sorts of ailments. Many missionaries overseas are finding it an absolute necessity for almost anything. Dr. John Lee has an awesome book if you have not read it 'What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause', which contains much detail about hormones and the like. Just something to think about....
